New Story of State Team Storytelling Contest Sponsored by TAJE

Students must be registered for the ILPC convention to participate. Working in teams of 1-3, students will cover any aspect of the UIL Academic State Meet on Friday, May 6. They can use any combination of writing, photography, video, audio and/or graphic design to produce an in-depth feature story. Be as specific as possible on your story angle. General stories about the meet itself are discouraged. Email with questions.

Content can be submitted via file upload or a URL to the form at Include all components of the story in the same form. Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 9.

Any student registered for the ILPC Spring Convention is eligible to participate in this free contest. Schools may enter multiple teams. TAJE and UIL reserve the right to use entries in promotional materials. Results will be announced via TAJE member email and TAJE social media accounts the following week. Awards will be given to first, second and third place winners. The top team will receive a $150 summer workshop scholarship for their school.
