TAJE welcomes Alison Strelitz from Westlake High School in Austin as our new Convention Director.

Alison Strelitz graduated from Texas A&M with a journalism degree and worked at Texas Monthly Magazine, The Austin Business Journal and in communications for a nonprofit organization before obtaining her teaching certificate and transitioning into the classroom. This is her seventh year teaching at Westlake High School, and her sixth year advising the El Paisano yearbook, teaching Photojournalism and coaching the UIL journalism team. Alison is proud to call Austin, Texas, home, where she lives with her husband and twin ninth-grade boys.
