This is my 19th year.
How many students are involved in your media program at your school?
My advanced class has 11 students and my intro class has 13. Normally we have a larger program but this year we saw a drop due to a change in district policy.
Most unusual item in/on your desk?
A flower that says “To: Mom Happy Mother’s Day” Unusual because I’m neither a Mother or Female 😀

Why is journalism important?
Journalism is about asking questions and asking questions is the best way to learn about something. So Journalists are here to help the people learn about the the world around them.
What’s the biggest struggle you’ve had to overcome as a teacher?
Student’s apathy towards everything 🙁
