Why is journalism important?

What’s the biggest struggle you’ve had to overcome as a teacher?
I did not go to school or start out as a teacher, so I have been learning the profession as I go. Learning how to find the balance between having fun and still enforcing discipline. Throughout the past two years I have been finding my teaching style and honing my craft.
Who are your biggest influencers as a teacher?
I am very lucky to work with tenured teachers at my school. So, I would say my co-workers and my Dad. My Dad was my high school principal and spent his entire career in middle and high school education. He is adored by everyone and has been such a big motivator for me in this career.
